The Barsha Heights development, formerly known as TECOM, is set in the middle of prime neighborhoods in Dubai. It consists of several hospitality projects as well as residential and commercial properties.

At the heart of this mixed-use community is a high-rise apartment building called Al Hawai Residence.
Al Hawai Residence is a modern style residential building that stands 26 stories above the ground with an estimated height of 106.59 meters. The exterior of the Al Hawai Residence features a pale concrete base that alternates with reflective glass panels.

The front facade contains balconies stacked on top of each other in an orderly smooth curve. The property offers 1 and 2+kk apartments with large rooms, built-in wardrobes, ensuite bathrooms and wide balconies. Its ground floor houses several retail outlets such as Broccoli Pizza and Pasta, The Red Lounge beauty salon and West Zone supermarket.

The name broccoli comes from school children. Yes, that is correct. We asked a large number of Emirati children which vegetables are healthy, nutritious and, believe it or not, fun. The response was overwhelming and here we are today.

We were able to find a great corner unit within a neighborhood made up of families, hotels and some commercial office space. Almost unexpectedly, but not entirely surprisingly, we found ourselves catering to the entire local community from children to seniors, individual boarders to families.
We needed a system that would allow us to cook our menu to order in the most efficient way possible, while still focusing on our guests. So we got to work, running test after test to make the system as efficient as possible.

We had fresh portions of pasta – from order to ready – in 6 minutes and our pizza in 8 minutes.
Our demand grew and so did our traffic. Delivery was added, we added a park and order service, the location made us a 24-hour outlet, and then came the expansion. We opened the second and third premises
The year we became a franchise. We got a few inquiries and dismissed them all, but they just kept coming and coming. Truth be told, we were worried about the Broccoli franchise.

We loved our creation and wanted to ensure consistency was always maintained, but we also wanted to see Broccoli Pizza & Pasta serving communities across the UAE, not just in Dubai (little did we know we would soon become an international brand!). So we went to work, reminiscent of 2010, diligently planning how we could simplify operations, ensure that everyone joining had a support platform and an established structure that always put brand reputation first.
