The school, which now. 55 years old, run as an independent non-profit community. Students attend classes five days a week, from Sunday to Thursday. The school day for students in KG1 starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:45 p.m. Students in grades K2-12 participate from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To the demanding schedule, the school runs an 8-day rotation of classes.
After relocating from its original location in Jumeirah 1 eight years ago to a location closer to Dubai’s newer residential areas, any fears that families might not want to travel proved unfounded. Student numbers at ASD continue to grow, they may declining at other schools.

Education is essential in raising children to give them the start in life they need to set themselves on their way to a successful future. It is the key that unlocks the potential of the next generation of leaders, doctors, teachers and change makers. The catastrophic crisis in the Far East has left children unable to attend schools and educational facilities. The disabled traveled to other countries to seek a better life for their families.
We strongly believe in the importance of providing educational opportunities. Children will have a safe space to learn and have fun.
We want the children to grow into adults who will one day rebuild their lives in peace.
The subjects taught are Arabic, English, Islamic Studies, Mathematics and Science. There are 270 children as guests.
Educational projects aimed at providing an ideal environment for teaching, inspiring, encouraging and nurturing young minds. Getting an education helps build self-confidence, self-assurance and increases access to opportunities.

Schools should enable students to understand their own culture and respect the diversity of others. There are different definitions of culture, in this context the most appropriate are “values and forms of behavior that characterize different social groups”. More precisely, it’s “the way we do things around here.”
Education is one way communities pass their values from generation to generation. For some, education is a way to protect culture from outside influences. For others, it is a way of promoting cultural tolerance. As the world becomes more crowded and connected, it becomes more culturally complex. Living with respect and diversity is not just an ethical choice, it is a practical imperative.
Schools should have three cultural priorities: helping students understand their own culture, understanding other cultures, and fostering a sense of cultural tolerance and coexistence. The lives of all communities can immensely enriched by celebrating their own cultures. And the practices and traditions of other cultures.
Education should enable young people to become active and compassionate citizens. We live in densely woven social systems. The benefits we get from them depend on us working together to maintain them.
The empowerment of must balanced by the application of the values and responsibilities of collective life, and democracy in. Our freedoms in democratic societies are not automatic.
They come from centuries of struggle against tyranny and autocracy and those who incite sectarianism, hatred and fear. These struggles are far from over. As John Dewey observed, “Democracy must be reborn every generation, and education is its midwife.
